Halloween Has Arrived!!!

I've spent most of the day cleaning and decorating for Hallween. Rebecca love it. She was such a big helper. I think she understands the whole "Trick or Treat" for candy thing. I'll have pics soon of my house decorated

Big Accident

I guess if she was going to have a big accident, she might as well do it in a big way. Minutes after retrieving Rebecca from her Grandmother last night. She pee'd in the carseat. She flooded the carseat. Hence, I had to dismantle the whole thing and wash the cover. Hey, this carseat looks like brand new again. I couldn't believe it. I don't think I'm going to let her eat and drink in the car anymore. Because, after washing it, I realize just how grungy that carseat had gotten.

Not much going on for the weekend. The plan is to get my house super clean and decorate for fall and Halloween. My car is going to be worked on too. Hopefully its fixable. I was really looking forward to a couple year without a car payment. But, its our main transportation and I commute 25 miles one way to work everyday. We might have to bite the bullet and get a new car. List of car ailments - broken UV joint, hole in the exhaust and brakes. We'll shall see.

I am doing the American Heart Walk on Saturday morning. But, it starts really, really early. Its only 3 miles. But, the weather has been really beautiful the last couple days. The temperature this morning was 63. Its nice.

Hamburger Helper

I didn't know that crumbled ground beef could be interpreted in so many ways. When Rebecca was about 18 mos. she wouldn't eat Hamburger Helper. She told us that it was bugs. Tonight, she wouldn't touch her dinner. She pointed at the hamburger helper and proclaimed it to be "poo poo's" and it was ucky. It was pretty hillarious actually. We couldn't convince her otherwise.

Welcome to my new home. It definetly feels liberating here. The other blog, I always felt like someone was constantly watching me. I know the web is a wide open space. But, really I'd rather not have some people knowing my business. The only thing I don't care for it the template. It doesn't have titles for the entries. Maybe that's a blessing. But sometimes a title really makes a statement.

I guess this is the season of exorcism. Rebecca received a dress last Christmas from someone that I am not too particularly fond of. Hence, I think its found a new home. I just don't think I could have put it on her without having bad feelings about it. Giving it to someone makes me feel good.

We received the annual invitation in the mail on Saturday. It was addressed to Tony only. So, I'm not opening. He's so angry about everthing, he won't even look at the envelope. So, its sitting on our counter awaiting its fate. It will probably go in the trash unopened. I'm glad our lives our really busy for the month of October. It will stop us from dwelling on issues.

Issues. Yep, the family dynamics have issues. But, I don't see them getting any better. I don't think the others want it to get better. I don't think I should dwell on it. But, I can't help but think about how tough the situation is. I'm not one for not getting along. But, I think we've taken enough through the years. We keep setting ourselves up for controversy. I think one person in particular isn't happy unless there is discord. So, no more discord. No more person.

A New Home!!! I felt the need to do some quality control on my hits. So, I have a new home. Life can go on in somewhat peace now.
